Our vineyard, established in 1946, grows in the highly weathered, low nutrient sands of The Beach, a 60 million year old dune which has never been in the sea. Rather, it's the final remnant of a mountain range. This sand, which occurs nowhere else, brings concentration and rare finesse to our wines, like this mighty, opulent, moody, Shiraz.
