Pussers Rum Rum, British Navy

The original admiralty rum. Aged 15 years. Uniquely distilled in wood for more than two centuries. For more than 300 years, from before the days of admiral nelson and long after his victory at Trafalgar in 1805, the iron men of great Britain's sailing navy were issued a daily tot of Pusser's Rum. The 15-year rum in this bottle has been distilled in wooden pot-stills, a process that is unique to Pusser's. All other rums today are distilled in modern, industrial metal-column stills that cannot begin to match the flavour imported by wooden distillation. This rum is for sipping like a fine cognac or a single malt whiskey. It is best enjoyed at a temperature around 55 degrees F or 13 degrees C in a brandy sniffer that will enhance the pleasure of drinking the world's finest navy rum. 40% alc/vol. 80 Bottled by Pusser's Rum LTD. British Virgin Islands. Product of Barbados West Indies.
